Billed Time
Price your tracked time, then track what has been paid.
Time you have tracked only becomes money owed once somebody has looked at it. Billed Time takes your timesheet entries, applies the rate or the agreed fee for the engagement, and gathers the approved ones into a batch. On a personal plan you mark that batch as sent once you have asked the client, and record payments against it as they arrive: the asking happens however you normally do it. In an organisation the batch posts straight into the accounting book of the engagement as a real invoice. Either way, the gap between work done and cash received stops being guesswork.
