Get the most out of Notes

Structure, richer writing, sharing that behaves itself, and how to undo things.

Notes is more capable than it first looks, and most of what people miss is in two places: how sharing works, and what the editor can do beyond plain text.

Five short lessons. You will set up a structure that still makes sense months later, write notes that can be skimmed, share a notebook with a team without accidentally exposing the wrong folder, and know exactly which safety net to reach for when something goes wrong.

By the end you will be able to

  • Organise notebooks and folders around who you share with, not around projects
  • Use headings, checklists, tables and voice notes so notes stay readable
  • Share a notebook or a single note and know which one your plan allows
  • Recover a note, an earlier version, or a frozen notebook
