What is an account?

An account is one real place your money sits — a bank account, a mobile money line, or the cash in your pocket. It is the thing a transaction moves money into or out of.

Accounts live inside a wallet and take that wallet's currency. Moving money between two of your own accounts is a transfer, not income and not spending, so it never shows up in either total.
