What is a wallet?

A wallet is a separate space for a separate pot of money. Each one keeps its own currency, its own accounts and its own transactions, and nothing crosses between them by accident.

Most people need one. You want a second when money genuinely should not be mixed — a side business kept apart from household spending, or money held in another currency.

A wallet holds accounts; the accounts are where the money actually sits.
