What is a category?

A category is the label that says what a transaction was for — rent, transport, school fees — as opposed to which account it came out of.

Categories are what make the rest of the module work. A budget caps one category for a month, and the reports group your spending by them, so a transaction left uncategorised is money you cannot later account for.
