How do I find a note when I cannot remember where I put it?

  1. 1Start with All Notes in the sidebar — it is always there, whatever your own structure looks like.
  2. 2If you remember words from the note, use the Search tab.
  3. 3If you remember roughly when you wrote it, use Timeline or Calendar.
  4. 4If the note had a photo, a recording or a video in it, use Media, which gathers those across your notes.
  5. 5If somebody else wrote it, try Shared Notes.
